Hell yes Jacksonville!

After watching the news last night we have been carrying a sense of dread and general dispair around with us all day. What is wrong with our government and why haven’t they helped these people who are in need of so much? We were riding around the Stadium Distric today taking pictures of the proposed St. Johns Point site and the newly painted dumpsters at Alltell when we came across a brilliant humanitarian effort by the citizens of Jacksonville. Here are some photos we took:

There is a telethon (sp) for the red cross on all the major stations tonight. Every one should help out!

but i think thats great what the city is doing, it refreshing to see so many people trying to help out...u know allstate is matching any contributions we make by 100%?!!

but it's devastating thinking about what some of those people are going through, it's like a totally different planet, how can one city be SO out of control? it's quite scary...but it really makes you appreciate what do have... =)
