Ah the sumptuous smell of fresh baked cookies. One place we do not frequent enough is Coastal Cookies at the Landing. This sweet oasis by the river offers a large selection of cookie flavors including old stand-bys like peanut butter and oatmeal, new flavors like granola and our personal favorite, chocolate chip. There are two sizes of cookie to choose from, large or regular. We went with the regular size and $2.00 bought us about 10 cookies.
We think the large size fine, but not as much fun as the regular size. So, in our opinion if you really want to do it right, you have to go with the regular size. Sold by weight, they are just small enough to look bite-size. They could be bite-size if you are eating them alone and can stuff your face with wild abandon. If you are with a friend you might want to take them in bites of two. Not that we’re here to tell you how to eat your cookies, just a few consumption suggestions.
In our opinion Coastal Cookies get an A for taste and a B+ for value.
