That’s right, we’re one year old today! On Friday June 17th, 2005 I wrote my first post. It was simply titled Hayden Burns Library (I know I misspelled it!) That innocent beginning spawned a full 365 days of pure Jacksonville blogging. Here are a few stats for those interested:

Unique visitors: over 40,000
Daily Traffic average: 200 visitors per day and over 700 page views

Thanks for all of your comments and emails over the past year. It’s not only me that makes Urban Jacksonville a success, but all the readers who leave comments and create discussions where once there was no discussion. Keep up the good work and we will continue this conversation for another year.
