I totally need a better camera on my phone

I was walking with my son on my lunch break when a cop on his horse galloped up. This is most likely part of Operation Showdown mentioned in Tuesday’s Times Union and by JaxGOP.

The program temporarily floods high-crime areas with a special unit of officers and increases contact with residents and business owners. The program then shifts to a second phase, during which patrol officers maintain the neighborhood contacts and try to keep crime down.

This photo was taken at Silver and Third, right in front of the Symphony Show House. My question is where do you tie your horse up if you have to go after a bad guy?

As a side note: JaxGOP is killing it on the blog scene lately, I don’t agree with his political affiliation, but whatever. I hope he can keep it up.
