The owner of A-Z mentioned that's where he learned how to make sandwicheds in San Francisco after he was stationed overseas. A-Z has great riders - also Carl's has great lunch platters, the only thing I'd prefer is if the AC was more consistent at Carl's. A-Z is not that scary looking - I would think the kitchens at chicken places at the 8th and Main intersections would be. I’m real particular about sandwiches, coming from SF.
