the artists included:
Kenny Salvador (big wall with KEN at the bottom),
Mico Fuentes (the prints and glass door installation),
Chance Isbell (small pieces on doors, and zombie door, left wall),
Ryan Johnson (Back right corner by the bar, collages and painting),
Mark George (rippled plastic pop pieces), & Shaun Thurston... most of the pieces in the flickr photos titled artist unknown, are actually by Mico Fuentes, (except the canvas with the black tree branch coming down from the top right corner... that's me)

Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it great show... It looks like we are going to be able to do another one next month, so cross the fingers and rub the voodoo charms.

The Thief in the Knight show was by far my favorite exhibition at the Art Walk. Kenny Salvador's pieces were especially spectacular; he had some slick mixed media canvases and a few others that reminded me of the days when 80s graffiti artists were taking from the streets and into the studio for the graf-on-canvas thing.

From a city perspective, it's nice to see Jacksonville's art scene picking up steam. The wife and I have hit a few of the past art walks and weren't terribly impressed with the whole thing versus the same types of events in other cities. It's much better now, thanks to enterprising artists like the ones who put on this Thief in the Knight thing.

If you missed it... well, you missed it!
