Video of Labor Day fire in Springfield

I was sitting in my house watching the rest of Prison Break when the whole sky started glowing orange. I ran outside and caught most of the fire on video. I have to commend the Jacksonville fire department who arrived on the scene in minutes and extinguished the flame just as quick.

I sure hope these fires aren’t cause by someone. Seems kind of fishy with 3 fires in the past couple months.

A homeless guy was ran out of a house a couple weeks ago when someone saw that a fire was lit. He was trying to cook his food…

Railroad Trax from Jax–New Orleans?! | What's Up Jacksonville
This week Larry Hannan at The Florida Times-Union reported the possibility of Amtrak re-establishing a route between Orlando and New Orleans that would pass through Jacksonville. The CSX-owned route was damaged when Hurricane Katrina hit it in 2005. Amtrak hasn’t supported the new idea because of low ridership before Katrina.
