My friend Timmy just started writing for the Chicagoist and boy am I jealous. Not of Timmy, but of the Chicagoist. I hoped Timmy would return to Jacksonville and start writing for Urban Jacksonville, now he’ll probably never come home. I want Urban Jacksonville to be like the Chicagoist someday, but to do that I need more, err any, contributions.

Another good hyperlocal blog is Urban Honking out of Portland.
