Biblioklept’s scary books I-IV

Mmmwwwwuuuhhaahahaha!
Its time to take a look at a bombastic new blog Biblioklept. From what I gather this blog is written by a teacher from one of our fine Duval County High Schools, but hey Mr./Mrs. Biblio, correct me if I am wrong. How fortunate we are to have a teacher who’s so passionate enough about the subject he/she teaches.
Biblioklept describes itself like this:
Books I pinched, picked up, procured, purloined, pirated; books I absconded with, filched, fingered, lifted; books loaned to friends never to be returned. Books I’m reading, have read; books I like, love; books I think you should read. Stolen writers. Robbed texts. Hm. Haw. Yes!
Excellent. Good example for impressionable youngsters? Maybe not…
So why talk about Biblioklept today? He/she doesn’t write about downtown or any urban areas. No, but they do have a 4-part series on scary books which is perfect for today.
Scary Books – Part I Grendel, Macbeth, Bunnicula
Scary Books – Part II From Hell
Scary Books – Part III Scary Stories from Poe and Kafka
Scary Books – Part IV What books scared you?
