I live all of 30 feet from the bar, and i hadn’t even noticed it…i guess b/c i never drive that way to Main…I think it looks rad and don’t know why anyone would be against it…i am glad that place is doing well, i haven’t had the chance to go by…i hope they are there forever and it already seems cooler than Moe’s, even though Moe’s had the best name for a Springfiled bar EVER.

i’ve been to shanty town quite a few times now, and i freakin’ love it. it’s just a really cool place to hang out. and that dog that was there saturday night was cool too, even though it threw up a bit, which was kinda gross.

Nice 80s old school straight letters and background. The Baboon looks great, detail photos of just that would be great to see as well.

Keep the mural. It rocks. It adds character.

It’s ok to have something in the neighborhood that is not Victorian or Klutho-esque.

We are planning to ask Shaun if he could paint a “Beware of Dog” mural on our back alley fence, in leiu of the ho-hum usual Home Depot sign.
