After living in the Riverside area for quite a few years...I was thrilled when Anomaly opened up. Finally a store that was reasonably priced with cute clothes had arrived! Of all the stores in five points and surrouding areas, I chose and still choose to shop at Anomaly. Adam and Emily are always so friendly and helpful, which I can't say about all the stores around here. She supports local artists and throws art shows for them (no other stores in 5 points do that), helped out with The Bridge, and donates jewlery and gifts to local schools. Emily has never tried to push her ideals on anyone and I think she is a wonderful person, and if you have anything bad to say about her, it shows you don't know her. Just because she owns a boutique doesn't mean she only has to shop at independent stores. Honestly...why would anyone care where she shopped? Is it that big of a deal? If you are so concerned about it fashion or whatever it is that upset you so much...what were you doing at the mall?

It saddens me that you even feel like you should reply to this drivel.

The reason ratsonville spotted you at baby gap?

Big Sale at Hot Topic!

fuck that coward punk.

I am not in riverside much anymore, but will make it a point to get over to Anomaly and support a principled local bussiness. (unless Adam is in the Federalist Society at law school...then your on your own)

I am willing to bet I have scars older than ratsonville. Earned keeping punk kids like him from getting beat to death by nazis on riverside streets. I wear them with pride while looking over the book collection at Costco.

Dont ever justify you behavior to shiteaters like this.

Haters hate, and little else. fuck em.
You got work to do.

ratsonville... i apologize for shopping at baby gap and i'm sorry you feel misled by my ideals. i do support as many local, independent stores as possible but with the many financial costs of having a child and helping my husband get through law school, i did pick up a few onesies for our son at baby gap. they were on sale 1/2 off so they really weren't making that much money off of me. i really love the children's stores in town, but it's not financially feasible for me to purchase all my son's clothing there. i try to shop at duck duck goose and lulu as much as possible, but honestly, i can not afford to have my sons wardrobe full of $50 baby outfits. but, i guess since i'm so money hungry, you would think that i have tons to spend on designer clothes for my son. currently, i am trying to expand our children's clothing selection so i will have something to dress my son in and offer a more affordable option for dressing children in our community.

i do have to say that your comment really hurt me on a personal level. i pride myself on being a sincere person and i would love for you to introduce yourself to me so we could discuss this matter and my feelings further. we're having an art show tomorrow night and if you aren't doing anything, please come, make peace and have a couple of beers on us.

Just kidding, please bring them by anytime.

Okay, i realize this is an old thread, but I have this to say:

Ratsonville: FUCK YOU. You don't know my wife, and you are in no place to judge her. She actually makes a lot of clothes, burp cloths, and bibs for our son, but she doesn't have time to make them all. Show us a small, independent kids clothing store that is affordable, and we will shop there. We support independent businesses whenever possible. GrassRoots instead of Publix whenever we can, Moon Colony (RIP) or Inertia over Best Buy, Burrito Gallery over just about any other place; so, yes, sometimes we have to shop at chains, but only begrudgingly. Calling her money hungry shows you don't know anything about her. So next time, maybe talk to us and find out about our economic politics before you talk shit, and do so anonymously like the little bitch i'm sure you are.
