For episode four of the Urban Jacksonville podcast I spoke with Lynn Wilson of the Springfield Small Business Association about the Springfield Farmers Market. Despite a false start last weekend the farmers market will go off this Saturday with Mexican food prepared on site, fresh produce, San Marco Health Foods organic co-op, hot dogs, music and rides for your kiddies.

What’s the address and schedule?
The Market will be located at 1520 N. Main Street betweenn 5th and 6th Street. We will be having our Grand Opening tomorrow from 9-1. We will be open every Saturday from 9am-1ish. We will extend our hours as long as shoppers are still there! We are looking towards a HUGE opening with many Produce Vendors, #8 Dogs, a Food Court, Garden Decor, Home Decor, Handmade Beadwork, Embroidery, Clothing, and Antiques. The market will also have inflatable rides for kids and adults! Lynn and I look forward to seeing you there!
