Actually, UJs info is, I think, talking about Hionides taking control, which he did close in Dec. The upside being that its no longer in government hands, thus taking anything like what River Regions plan.

Now, The latest update is some developer has a contract on it to turn it into condos. Lets all collectively cross our fingers!!!

I thought Hionedes was selling the Jewish Center? Is he now going to keep and develop the building? Is he ACTUALLY going to do something with one of his properties? THAT, I’ll believe when I see!!

I have spoken to several people about 3rd and Main. It is a go. they are currently working thier way through permitting. They want to break ground before the Springfield Heritage Days (May 4-7) so it will generate interest.
