just tell him we need a freaking court house. i don’t care if it has concrete floors. it is a sad state of affairs when we don’t have room for the attorneys and enough courtrooms for judges. we are kicking out state attorney’s, and having them work in the city hall annex, which means that they are constantly running back and forth between the two buildings, which wastes time.

You can make the courthouse look nice, and insure that it is functional, without vomiting chunks of our money into Italian marble and gold light fixtures.

I think while people like Adam just want a decent place to work, the judges are clamoring for the Palace of Versailles. I just remember Judge Moran acting like a petulant kid three years ago when it looked like he (they) weren’t going to get their Monument to Justice.

i’m really not sure. three years ago i was a junior in college, living in greenville, south carolina.

i remember that there was talk of marble floors and shit like that. totally unnecessary.

The courthouse will be scaled down AND cost 500 Mil. Sadly, we could have had so much more for 400Mil just three short years ago… This is what lack of leadership brings you…
