I was sorry that so few of the local artists were at the opening. There are some great paper works in the Bank of America show, Terry Winters, et. al. As much as we love our "art scene" and the people in it, the truth is that fresh blood/eyes are sorely needed. The thing about getting an "outsider" into that position will be the possibility for more interesting solutions outside of the established Jacksonville purview.
