Hell yeah! When i saw those, i was bowled over. Not sure, why, but i just think they are SO damn cool. So, we’ve got famous Vietnam war shooting in the had guy, Hendrix, Ghandi, and who are the other two?
Chairman Mao is my guess for the Asian guy?
Rasputin? Lenin? Stonewall Jackson? for the other
Tres cool….however I wonder why Jimi Hendrix is sharing a wall with Dr. Martin Luther King and Ghandi. Perhaps I was too young in the ’70s, but I can’t equate playing your guitar while on fire with the civil rights movement or human equality.
Then again, maybe it’s just a bunch of random faces on the wall, in which case I’d like to request Weird Al Yankovic be added. “White and Nerdy” had a profound effect on me.
BTW…I’d like to suggest that second from the right is Billy the Kid. He shot 42 men…one of them just for snoring too loud!
And if you get that reference, consider yourself my new best friend.
Second from right appears to be John Wilkes Booth
I like the JWB call, Rampant. I think you may be right.
To David Knighton
Did someone actually buy the Time-Life book series on the Old West? Or just watch those commericals so many times in the 1980s that it has been seared into permanent memory?
What privileges does one receive as a new best friend?
That is, if I got your obscure reference correctly…
