Jacksonville Guitar Hero Competition

On September 14 and 15 the San Marco Theater will be screening This is Spinal Tap and hosting Jacksonville’s first ever Guitar Hero II competition. This is huge if you’re a Guitar Hero fan, like myself. If you are not a Guitar Hero fan, or don’t even know what it is, watch this video:
Ok so now you know what Guitar Hero is. Imagine 12 people battling it out on a stage in front of a huge audience.
12 lucky contestants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their guitar hero prowess on the stage of the San Marco Theatre before a screening of Spinal Tap. Hosted by thee Shana David, the winner will not only be judged by score but by the overall chutzpah that the contestant demonstrates.
The winner will receive a trophy and a pitcher of beer for their efforts and will be immortalized as the first winners of this showdown and will be invited back to be challenged by the next round of winners.

Glad to see I’m not the only one who loves Guitar Hero. We are going to be holding a Guitar Hero/Karoake Night at least once a month. We weren’t sure if it would take off, but by the sounds of things it will go fine. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
