Black Kids played at Burrito Gallery last night to a crowd of friends, fans and Art-Walkers who happened to stumble upon live music.

The band played two sets in the Urb Garden to a decent crowd and breeze. The venue was ideal for an Art Walk show judging by the set-up; people were able to dance in front of the stage while others took it easy in the back or at the tables along the walls.

Both sets were great, but the second was more enjoyable because the band played more familiar songs. It was exciting to look around and see people singing along. Seems Jacksonville’s found something else to be proud of.

To bad they wear tight jeans the Drummer dude is a “total dickhead for no reason”.
(love you guys)
good work, adrienne.
but.
darlin’…you need to get some pics that aren’t from a camera phone!!!
if you ever need to borrow a camera, i have many!
ps. i posted some pics- if you want to use any.
The only dickhead there was me. I’m sorry, I think I danced on someone’s first born and somehow stepped on a face or two. Reggie is so endearing when he’s drunk. He brought the denim skin, too. Hell to da yea.
Yeah, I have a pretty sweet camera that stopped working just a few weeks ago. Thanks for the offer, Rachel. Maybe I’ll just start stealing your pics since I see you everywhere. I’ll check out the ones you posted.
Eric, that wasn’t someone’s first born you stepped on, it was me. Ouch.
Stephanie- I know, I love them too. From the teenage emo of cubby, to the 20 something hipster dance rock of current band– that one dude at least knows how to pick the trendy music to shape his band after!
Rach, will you post a link to your photos?
definitely.
