Urban Jacksonville Halloween Mixtape
This is the second official Urban Jacksonville mixtape, this time I’m bringing my bloodiest, worm-infested tracks for you to devour. Did you get a chance to come to the Urban Jacksonville reader appreciation party where I DJed? If so, you may have heard 5 of these tracks, but that means there are 9 new Halloween tracks you haven’t heard.
Yes, I know there are two Thriller versions. I subscribe to the theory that you can’t have too much Thriller on Halloween. I think you find the versions to be relatively unique and equally enjoyable.

Joey, you should check out the theme song to the Italian horror flick “Tenebre” by the Italo-Prog group Goblin.
It may be recognizable… if you’ve heard “Phantom” from Justice. They did a pretty good homage (in true Daft Punk sample style)
I’m pretty sure it’s floating around Youtube.
Good call on the Warren Zevon - perfect for Halloween. You better stay away from him, he’ll rip your lungs out jim…. Ha i’d like to meet his tailor!
thanks for the music links joey.
you can also get free mp3s at daytrotter.com. it’s run by a studio in rock city, ill. where bands on the road stop in for a few hours and play thier songs on borrowed instruments with whoever is around. usually ends up with 4 tracks per session. check the archives for top downloads.
insound.com has a huge library of free songs too.
Don’t forget Hype Machine! The best music site evah!
What about the “Monster Mash”?? (anyone out there remember that one?)
