That mural in 5 points was dated and faded, not to mention jacked up with bottom rung graffiti. At least those new bombs are quality.

Solution: Get a better artist to paint a NEW mural. I'm getting tired of seeing Charles Bronson dressed up as Marilyn Monroe.

i agree with kathy. i love good street art, like the paste ups around downtown (the punk with the dog, the old folks, the kid, etc), but tagging and throwing up your stuff over murals pisses me off. there is a line, and too many people cross it.

I love seeing the street art around town, but was very dissappointed to see that they painted over the mural in Five Points and here you are promoting it on the website. Why they gotta do that!! I heard others on the street complaining and shaking their head about the same thing. Liven up the city, make a statment, but respect the other artists. I would think there is plenty of open wall space without having to paint over murals-good or bad- that already brighten up the city.
