Bonde Do Role, The DeathSet and Heavy Flow Wednesday the 7th at TSI
05/04/08 • Posted in: Downtown Jacksonville, Events, Music by Joey MarchyThis will be a massive show. Not only do these bands kick ass, it’s right after Art Walk. I missed seeing The DeathSet four times at SXSW. It sucked. Wednesday should make up for that. Bring your fun pants, it should be a wild one.
Oh! I have two guest list spots. If you want to be on the guest list, leave a comment or contact me and tell me why you deserve it. The best answers by end of day Tuesday will get on the guest list.
P.S. sorry about the animated gif! I should have told Brendon no animation, but I kinda like it so it stays. It will only be there for three days anyway.

I deserve it because i want to give it to my best friend in the entire world, Nik. He is an all around amazing person and he is becoming an eagle scout tomorow and i thought it would be a good gift. Also he will be attending NYU this summer and is somewhat tight on money. Aswell as being an all around amazing person, he is hard working, honest, and more deserving of anything or anyone in the entire world! and we love your blog. much love!!!
I am musically underexposed: 2006 - present.
I think my friend Olivia desrves a spot, not only because she is an amazing friend and person overall, but also because she is a loyal patron of both TSI and Bonde do Role. She has been to TSI countless times and is always a welcome presence. She was even posted in a picture on this website (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/194/523569776_a8dc68b2e0.jpg). Furthermore, she introduced me and probably others to Bonde do Role, proving that she is a valuable supporter of the band. Also, did I mention that she’s really cute???
I am so excited for this show. Good job always bringing great bands here, Brendon.
Olivia,
Get with me and I’ll tell you how you can get on the guest list. joeymarchy at gmail dot com
It really seems like TSI has become the best club in town for seeing rising bands in a small, intimate club. If anyone remembers the great days of the Milk Bar (c.1995-1999), it seems like someone (finally) has picked up where they left off.
