Johnny, thanks for the ringing endorsement of interacting with people online. I'm sure many folks will be more compelled to discuss this and other issues given your thoughtful feedback. That, and you're a soft bottom that couldn't intimidate a stray kitten cornered in a dark alley.

It looks like this may be a pretty sensitive subject. Sounds like I better keep a pretty low profile. The SRG Goon Squad, the Springfield Gay Mafia, or Realtors with plenty of time on their hands might come after me.*

* Disclaimer: For those who didn't advance beyond a 3rd grade education (e.g. Johnny), the above is written in playful jest and is for entertainment purposes only.

I forgot to add the following caveat:

The closest to redemption some of the recent First Fridays came was the inclusion of Shaan Batten's design effects/elements/whatever. I suggest heading right over to Nest Living in Five Points and buy two of everything.

On an unrelated note, I was just thinking how Guinness is my favorite beer...

Regarding First Fridays in S-field:

Notwithstanding Joey's disclaimer and the fact that it looks like a VERY beautiful house, can't Springfield consistently find at least ONE house per month that is actually occupied by its owners?

And no, I'm not offering to host First Friday with my piece of shit house (I would prefer to not poison my neighbors with lead), but there are a few thousand other homes in the historic district to choose from, so I feel confident that 12 can be secured on an annual basis.

Don't get me wrong, I, like many people, like checking out houses/spaces on the market, but First Friday in Springfield has become more of a marketing ploy that a legit. 'hood house party.

Conversation at a recent First Friday:

"Uh.....I really like your....uh....stainless appliances and other fixtures...uh...looks like your contractor did a good job painting [insert uncomfortable silence]. Uh...thanks for the import beer"
