Head into Springfield tonight for a National Night Out celebration. Starts at 6:30! National Night Out is a unique crime/drug prevention event designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Springfield’s event with be held at 8th and Perry (above) and will start at 6:30.
SPAR is bringing meat, soda, and water. We ask that everyone please come to support this event with a favorie dish (finger foods are so much easier to manage) and a lawn chair to relax in. There will be music and fun as we send the message to criminals that nerghborhoods belong to families. EVERYONE is invited and welcome.
The iMac Returns to Marks! After NNO head over to Mark’s on Bay Street where Biggie Tea, Brian V and I will be playing music that doesn’t suck. Hopefully we won’t have to flex our muscles like last week. $1 PRB, 2$ Drafts and $3 Jager. Event though Biggie’s face hurts we’ll still throw down. You might even catch guest DJ Ben Bernanke at Super Tuesday!
