In regards to the explanation, I assumed those discussing politics would have general knowledge about Middle East and Muslim culture. Apparently I assumed wrong. I also don’t expect to win over any fans nor do I expect to change closed minds regardless if they are Dem or Repub. Simply to push the idea that real change is available for those who are actually serious about saving America and not what the cool hip marketing campaign brainwashes you into thinking what change is. Side note: As an artist and individual formally in he advertising business, I always find it quite humorous that the very individuals that say advertising and marketing does not persuade them have been found wanting.

How comfortable it must be to sit on the sidelines during this historical crisis… smuggly assured of your abilty to say “See, I told you so” no matter who is elected.

Politics (and government) is a dirty difficult business..so I try to reserve my cynicism and venom for individuals.

A cynic might ask…How is it that so many republican talking points work into the shell of Rampant’s “libertarian” perspective?
Is it possible that while making the exact arguments of the right wing echo chamber a person might cultivate the manner of a “concerned” citizen, a learned cynical idealist who just wishes to inform the discourse, in order to insinuate discredited talking points into the disscussion?

I 100% disagree that Obama has fully fleshed out ideas and policy stances. He has partials and some of those partials are BAD ideas. If Obama ever said he said he understood the economy, I would then quickly show you a liar. If I’m not mistaken he majored in law not economics.

Peyton does have executive experience where Obama has none. However, Peyton obviously doesn’t have the approval ratings that “Palen” or even Palin has. Nor has Peyton had experience at a state executive level that “Palen” and Palin has had. Neither has Obama. Once again, “Palen” and Palin are not running for President, Obama is. Nor have i said that experience or qualifications means that “Palen” and Palin would make a better President, or VP. Personally I don’t care for her, but like I said Obama has NO executive experience and he’s the one running for President.

Secondly I didn’t mention anything about voting in elections. I said follow, voting does not require that you follow politics or elections.

as i said in my post, obama has fully fleshed out ideas and policy stances. that is what matters to me. mccain admits he doesn’t understand the economy. his mortage buy-up plan would funnel and extra $100 million to banks without providing relief to home owners.

so say that palen has executive experience would be to suggest that mayor peyton is qualified to be president. and that is what we should look for in a VP. ability to be president.

and just so you’re aware, i’ve voted in every election since 2000, when i made the mistake of voting for nader.

So now for the ignorant and race baiters that seem to be everywhere these days. Obama bin Biden would translate Obama son of Biden, meaning Obama is nothing more than a puppet that will be controlled by the likes of Biden due to inexperience and lack of basic understanding in geo-politics. The very same Biden that said he would gladly serve on a McCain ticket. Refers to McCain as a friend and trashed Obama on every chance he could when not on the same ticket and a few times even while on the same ticket. Apparently the Obama bin Biden was too cerebral for some.

Apparently Adam you missed the part where Obama is running against McCain not “Palen.” The fact still remains that “Palen” still has more executive experience than Obama, which is an undisputable fact.

I’m also wondering if this is the first election you have followed because your arguments are so incredibly flimsy that I’m not sure you would be able to comprehend an adequate response if I decided to give one. You do understand the difference between President and VP and the difference in roles while campaigning do you not? (That was rhetorical)

To VTP, I wouldn’t have you any other way than in the Obama camp. I’m the cheese to your macaroni, the Ricky to your Lucy, the Peanut butter to your, you get the idea. Your posts are nothing more than ad hominem and should be met with some form of dissent or balance. As for a post, I think about it but most likely turn it down. This country as much as I would like to spread the word of Liberty and Individual freedom that this country was founded on and deserves to the people of UJ, it would only fall on the deaf ears of those that seek “free money” and the want of government being in their daily lives. Soon enough citizens will realize that government is not the answer and that they themselves are the answer, and on that day all free men and women will rejoice in that oppression by government will be a thing of the past and our Constitution will be restored.
