A hip hop show or indie music video-rock-extravaganza? These are the decisions that confront you on this day, Friday October 17th, 2008. For me, the sure bet would be D.A.R.Y.L. (A.K.A. The N Word). He performed at the highly praised Partisan the Sea show last month and I was quite impressed. Nice rhymes and awesome beats, Triclops even got on the mic. Also performing is Mr. Al Pete and Dr. Sam Beckett.

Also tonight Sunbears are performing at TSI along with Catpain EO. I’ve never seen Sunbears so I can’t offer a personal endorsement, but I’ve heard good things. Looks like a good time.

Caught the Sunbears up at 9th &Main for a benefit show. They were better than the headliners that were from Mtv...

Antonio is mad about about missing both. And I would go to both. Prob end at shant because you can't start a flipping hip hop show in this town til about last call and junk. I can also speak firsthand to the sunbears. They are as great as their name.
