i agree about Mike’s shop. i’ve been there a few times with my mazda, and he’s a great guy. he patched my tire for free once, and never finds things to fix just to drive up the price. my dad and i are both pretty talented in the car repair area, so it’s annoying when a repair shop tells you that your such and such needs to be replaced when you know that’s not the case. i’ve never had that happen with mike.

It’s great to see commercial businesses where commercial businesses should be–the Main Street Commercial Corridor!! Thanks for opening another great Springfield restaurant. Also, don’t be too hard on Mike; serving alcohol increases a business’ liability, so maybe not jumping in all the way right now is good business sense…not a social or religious comment per se. Equating choosing not to serve alcohol to bigotry is pretty extreme, Ray.

what’s with the knock on SJCC? i spent many a summer day in elementary school in the pool and on the golf course there! plus, they serve alcohol.

I just went there today and I have to say I was amazed at the quality. The Shawarma wrap was just what I needed to pick me up.

and in terms of the wine and beer, Mike and Waffa are practicing muslims and it is against their religion to serve it, and people should be able to respect that enough not to complain. If I want a beer I will just walk over to Shanty after my meal and have a nice cold Brooklyn Lager.

Plus, as a bonus because they are muslim all of their food is hallal which means humane slaughtering and treatment of the animals and a higher quality of meat than you would normally find.

nice ad Joe. your life is perfect. for dinner you should dine at Chan’s, the world’s most authentic Chinese food then afterwards you can drive around on your golf cart waving at all of your wonderful neighbors who are watering their perfect lawn.

Wafaa's n mikes's mon – thurs the resteraunt is opened from 10 am to 9 pm and fri and sat we are open from 10am to 11 pm!!! come and you can have hookeh with your food outside, 4pm is when they have hookeh ready, and till the time we close, come and try it all!!!

ok everybody please excuse my last comment of the time, but hookeh is opened anytime from10am to 9 pm mon true thurs and 10am to 11 pm fri and sat
