My friend and Urban Jacksonville Weekly co-host, Jonathan Bennett, told me about this scavenger hunt. Find the Jade Monkey is city-wide game that begins on May 9th. New clues are posted every week about the monkey’s location.
Here’s how the game will be played. The Jade Monkey has set up his lair somewhere in Jacksonville, and it’s up to you to find him. Remember – the Jade Monkey is not lost, and most certainly does not need to be rescued He is simply back in Jacksonville and wants to see if anyone in town is clever enough to play his game.
Once a week you will find a new clue to the monkey’s location here on this site. At some point, he will expect you to prove your location.
