my question to mike hogan is how can you be backed by police and firefighters who are basisly union backed a look at other areas show this requires your backing of these unions and not the budget of the city .

my name is sheena cenescar i'm a mother or four and four grandskids amd married i lived in jacksonville all my live i love my state just not some of the people and things in it and the people the fake like they love it to get some where i'm writing yo not to be rude or disrespectful just to let you know how you deeply hurt me you was asked to come out and join us ib a live debate and your words were are there aleast 25 employed black people going to be there lol what a question to ask some one who is going to run for where you worry about how many black people where going to be in bethel church on sunday if we felt you wasnt going to be safe you never would have got the envite warren, ken, or mark didnt see anything wrong with coming out and reaching out to the the black people thats going to vote for them why we ccan see you and hear you words are you scare of us aleast come out and find out if and why some of us dnt have jobs but are willing to work but cant its because of people like you wnt give us that chance i'll love to speak to you i have alot to said thank and have a bless day

John, you are absolutely right on this one. The fact that tweets are protected shows they are not prepared to use the medium, nor understand it's value.

I expect to see the tweets unlocked at some point. Good point!

After closer reflection, my take is if Moran herself is the account holder it's very possible a 'learning curve' of using Twitter. It happens.

On the other hand if this is part of her campaign handled by a third party using online networking, she needs to understand her online presence isn't getting the payoff it could.

If it only takes one vote to win or lose when you get down to it...doesn't it matter?

Just sayin'.

I thought about this discussion this weekend. I think one reason health care reform is struggling so mightily is because all the younger voters who were “utilized” and “fired up” via vacuous, limited communications, now have no idea what, exactly, Obama's policies are, particularly on this subject.
It would be foolish to say that NO ONE can become educated through links, etc, disseminated via Twitter, but to think it led to a massive, educated bloc of voters who are now going to support and push through his ambitious agenda? I don't see it, sorry. I think many of the people who are voluminous users of Twitter and the like are so obssessed with their own ideas about it, and its supposed and perceived power, that they cannot take a step back and realize, yes, this is a very, very limited means of communication, ESPECIALLY with regard to political discourse.
