In reference to Isn't Print Dead …

Not yet flat-lined, but the pulse is growing more faint everyday. There might have been more life in the Jags on Monday night than there is in print. But, more to the point, 85 percent of nothing is nothing. The T-U may still get the majority in print, but the majority is a lot less than it used to be. As to on-line advertising, who needs it? Realtors, auto dealers and moms and paps can built their on website. Soon we'll find out just exactly how much folks are willing to pay for the words of others: my guess, about the same as they'd give for your thoughts. I think the going rate has been a penny for quite some time.
