Dancy/Redell Terrace rendering

Last week we found a series of renderings for Dancy/Redell Terrace (between 9th and 10th on Main) in Springfield. A New Jersey developer plans to renovate the 24 cottages into an “upscale gated community” in the $200,000 price range. They plan on using the easements for diagonal parking on 9th and 10th streets. They hope to have the two end units on 9th Street fully renovated by Spring Home and Garden Tour on April 22. Redell/Dancy Terrace, sold to a NJ developer?

A few days after finding the Dancy/Redell renderings someone posted renderings of a townhome project at 11th and Silver currently under development by Symbiosis Investments. The old Pic-n-Save will become six townhomes and they are under construction now. 11th and Silver townhome renderings

The Pearl on MySpace

Suzanne Jenkins and Taylor Hardwick will be giving a tour of the old Haydon Burns Library this Saturday at 10am. Jenkins hopes that by giving the tour she can win over those against the building’s preservation. This tour is open to anyone interested in seeing what’s so special about the building, in the words of its designer.

Allegretti blows it up with 5 posts yesterday including Friday party at the Pearl, his new logo, an indictment of JTA’s new parking promotion and notice of a public meeting with Suzanne Jenkins regarding downtown.

Folio has an extensive article on Councilwoman Pat Lockett-Felder this week.
