Starting today I will give people and businesses the opportunity to sponsor Urban Jacksonville. I am doing this as service to the community and to help support the day-to-day efforts of running the blog.
Urban Jacksonville is quickly becoming the destination for people who want to know more about Downtown Jacksonville, Springfield and other urban core neighborhoods. If you’re interested in reaching this community, Urban Jacksonville is the right place for you.
Urban Jacksonville is now read by over 2,000 people each week, with twice as many page views, and growing. It is likely your message will be seen over 4,000 times per week.
How it works
1-week sponsorships* appear on every page of the site. The sponsorship will be in the form of a banner 250 pixels wide by 90 pixels high. Your sponsorship will be the only one on the site for the time purchased. *Note: if you want more or less than a week we may be able to work something out if scheduling allows.
I charge a flat rate of $105 per week. I accept Paypal or personal check. If you use Paypal your request can be processed more quickly than a personal check. If your personal check bounces I will remove your sponsorship immediately. Payment required prior to sponsorship placement.

Start by checking the schedule to see if your desired date is available. Next send an email to joeymarchy@gmail.com to arrange all sponsorship details.
A couple of details …
I won’t accept animated banner sponsorships and I must approve the artwork before it will go live. If I don’t see a relationship between your product, service or event and the readers of Urban Jacksonville I will not accept the sponsorship.
Why do you have sponsorships on Urban Jacksonville?
Two reasons: to serve the community and pay for blog maintenance. Each week I get emails from people wanting to tell others about their product or event. Sponsorships are a perfect vehicle to reach people interested and involved in the urban neighborhoods of Jacksonville. I hope to provide a low barrier of entry for small businesses to reach potential customers in the Urban Jacksonville area.
