I’m getting the full scoop on these from COJ, but for now here are my observations:

• Meters sit on top of existing bases, seems like an easy install
• Credit and debit card
• Solar powered
• You can increment and decrement the amount of time you purchase
• No manufacturer information visible
• There were only 6 or so meters in front of The Landing
• Appears to be a pilot program

So not much is going on with the street art scene right now. There are quite a few throw-ups in Springfield from Snob and Oil but seems like everyone is still on Christmas break. Let’s dispense with the traditional “this isn’t art” conversation, it’s just a broad-based term to encompass all the photos you will see. I think I’m going to start throwing in buffs too. There is something intriguing to me about them.

I received and email this weekend letting me know Nicky G’s Brick Oven Pizza is now under new managment/ownership, however it is still fire fighter owned and operated.

The new hours are Monday and Tuesday from 11-2:30 and Wednesday-Friday from 11-Midnight and service includes delivery, lunch and dinner. Once we get things on track, we’ll be opening on Saturday’s. We have also started our catering and holding private parties, mainly Saturday-Tuesday when the pizzeria is closed.

More importantly, happy hour is Wednesday – Friday from 4-7. 1/2 price appetizers and 2.00 domestic drafts. Wednesday night is .50 cent drafts from 8-Midnight and we will be starting an all you can eat wing night on Thursday’s from 8-12 in the near future.
