We scanned the elevations for the Lofts at Third and Main. The copies were not very good so consequently the scans are not very good either. They are good enough for you to get the idea. We have not seen any architectural renderings (color/landscaping/etc) of the loft so we can’t say for certainty, but these elevations look rather drab.
To us it looks more Tinseltown office building than Historic District Loft. However due to its proximity to the SPAR offices we are pretty sure it will blend in to the district. We can’t see Lucy D. letting something that didn’t fit architecturally get as far as it has without a blip. The Lofts at Third and Main go back to the review commission on September 28 for public hearing.
